DataMoon at LeadsCon 2026: An astronaut helmet, and a lot of identity talk.

We sponsored LeadsCon 2026 and spent three days talking to operators about identity, intent, and what actually moves pipeline. Here's the recap.

We sponsored LeadsCon 2026 and spent three days talking to performance marketers, lead buyers, and operators who are trying to make sense of an identity layer that keeps getting more fragmented. If you swung by, thank you. If you didn't, here's the recap.

Why we showed up

LeadsCon is one of the few rooms where the people who actually buy, sell, route, and score leads are all in one place at the same time. That's our customer. We wanted to put the platform in front of them, hear what's broken, and stop pretending a slide deck is a substitute for a real conversation.

So we brought the product, two screens, a lot of bamboo charging cables, and an astronaut helmet. The helmet was not strictly necessary. It did get people to stop walking.

What we demoed

The booth ran two parallel demos all day:

  • Two platforms, one identity graph. RetargetIQ and DataMoon resolving to the same person across web, device, and offline signals — 270M+ profiles, 140M+ emails, refreshed daily.
  • Audience builder, live. Filtering 45,000+ intent categories by geographic radius and B2C/B2B intent, then pushing the audience into a channel without a CSV in sight.

The thing that landed hardest was not a feature. It was the speed. Watching an audience go from idea to activation in under a minute is what gets a lead buyer to lean in.

What operators kept asking about

A few themes came up in nearly every conversation:

  • Match rates that are honest. Everyone has been burned by a vendor that quoted 80% and delivered 30%. Operators want vendors that publish ranges, not ceilings.
  • Latency, not just coverage. Identifying a visitor three days later is not identification — it's archaeology. People want signals in the same session.
  • Fewer tools, more outcomes. The pitch for a single platform that handles identity, intent, and activation is no longer controversial. It's expected.
  • Compliance that doesn't read like a warning label. Consent-first, GDPR/CCPA-aware, and clean enough to put in front of legal without an apology.

The conversations we'll remember

The best parts of the show were not the scheduled meetings. They were the side chats — a CMO trying to consolidate seven point tools into two, a lead buyer who wanted to test a 14-day pilot before her board meeting, an agency owner who has been quietly wiring DataMoon into client stacks for months and finally got to tell us in person.

One theme came up over and over: operators don't want another dashboard. They want a shortlist of the few hundred visitors that actually matter today, ranked, enriched, and ready to action. Every conversation eventually came back to that.

What's next

If we talked at the booth and you want to keep the conversation going, the easiest next step is a focused walkthrough on your data:

We'll be back on the road this year. If you're hosting a room where operators talk about what actually works, tell us. We travel light, we listen more than we pitch, and the helmet is non-negotiable.

Thanks to the LeadsCon team for putting on a show that still feels like the industry talking to itself in the best possible way. See you in 2027.
